#Requirement No.1 – Arrange all required documents for Company Registration
The very first requirement for every entrepreneur who is undertaking the incorporation of a company is to arrange all the valid and necessary documents. This is because if you do not have all valid documents, then you cannot proceed to next step.
Personal Documentation
Here is the list of documents required for registering a company online in India:
- PAN card of every director and shareholder
- ID proof – anyone – (Driving license, passport, Aadhar card, voter ID card)
- Address proof – (Electricity bill, mobile bill, telephone bill, bank statement)
- Passport size photograph
Further, apart from above, some personal information is also required to date of birth, occupation etc.
Once your personal documentation is complete, we shall now proceed to the documentation of registered office.

Here is the list of documents required for registered office:
- Ownership proof or rent agreement
- Electricity bill of the owner
- Copy of NOC
#Requirement No.2 – Select the number of founders
The next step is to select the number of founders or partners. The minimum numbers of partners you must have are as follows:
- Private Limited Company – Minimum two directors
- Public Limited company – Minimum seven directors
- Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) – Minimum two partners
- One Person Company (OPC) – Minimum one person
#Requirement No.3 – Obtain Digital Signature Certificates
The third requirement is to obtain digital signature certificates (DSC). DSC is one of the most important aspects for forming the company in India. This is because all the form under MCA is signed through DSC.
#Requirement No.4 – Select the company name
The fourth requirement is to select the company name. Company name should be unique and should serve as your brand name. Further, in total 6 names should be selected out of which one is approved by the ROC.
#Requirement No.5 – Apply for incorporation of Companies
The fifth requirement is to apply for incorporation after preparing all the required documents. The incorporation should be applied via spice from INC 32. Further Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA) are also prepared digitally.
