RCMC stands for Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC). RCMC is issued by the Export promotional Councils of India. RCMC is issued for 5 years with an annual subscription, however, depends on upon council to council.

Who needs RCMC in India?

As per the foreign trade policy, there are two categories of person to whom RCMC is applicable.

• Every person applying for any license to import or export the restricted goods or any other license under import export shall apply for RCMC registration.
• Every person who wants to claim any benefit against any export scheme, then he shall also be liable first to register under RCMC.
